Thursday Fave Illustrator: Sarah McNeil

Kamis, 24 Januari 2013

Sarah McNeil is beyond talented New Zealand-based artists and illustrator, whose work has been featured in Magazines like Blanket, Chikismiqui and Frankie. Her creatures are famous for having a very friendly  look , fragile and happy. the arts are tender creatures, which are very often friends with animals so they will whisper to butterfly or will protect a bird. (Not creepy as aliens like most of art nowadays) And also the illustrated girl sketch that she created was all very well dressed (pretty outfit, hair, and collars!). Well yeah she's just a very talented artist...Don't you agree? :-)

Here are my favorite arts of hers:

Lavender Falcon And Pony Hair

Bernadine

The Straw Hat

Animal and Branches

60's icon lurv

Jumat, 04 Januari 2013

I was in the middle of doing nothing (haha!) when an idea of posting this 60's issue came out. So In particularly, everytime they talk about the sixties era one of the woman that popping in my head is this fashion icon Jean Shrimpton. I really can't get enough of her effortless style, flawless beauty, gorgeous dresses and ofcourse those cute bangs:-D

Jean Rosemary Shrimpton is an English model and actress. She was considered to be one of the world's first supermodels. She appeared on covers such as Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Vanity Vair, etc. She quickly became known as "the most popular model", "world's highest paid model", and the most importantly "the face of the 60's."

fun fact: Shrimpton also helped launch the miniskirt In 1965, Shrimpton caused a sensation in Melbourne, Australia, when she wearing a white shift dress which is whooping 10 cm above her knee! (which was unusual at the time)

Hell yeah gorgeous smile

all images were found on google and information taken from wikipedia

And from those pretty photos above you know right why i lurvv that lady Jean Shrimpton haha. xoxo erina
